Preparing For Your Appointment
Safe space for fellow queer folks. Only kind, respectful humans welcome ❤️
I only take Cash, Venmo or Debit Card as forms of payment. Cash or Venmo preferred :)
Please no design changes to flash pieces
Dizzy Ghost is a private studio located downtown Missoula. Exact address is sent out to clients the day before their appointment.
Areas that i do not tattoo: side of ribs, fingers, palm of hands, feet, behind ears, directly on elbows or knees, inner thighs, collar bones
If you are 15 minutes late or more without warning, you will be considered a "no show" and will need to reschedule. This includes submitting an additional $50 deposit.
Please don't show up to your appointment more than 5 minutes early! This cuts into my prep time, and my time with the client before you.
I usually block out a 2 hour time slot for your appointment. Please be sure to clear your schedule for that time, incase it takes us the full 2 hours to finish your tattoo.
Spot holding deposits are non refundable, and go towards your final tattoo price
Please give me a minimum 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule, so I can try to fill your spot. Anything within 24 hours will require an additional deposit to rebook. (this means an extra $50 fee added on top of the original tattoo price) You will have 30 days to reschedule before your design will be available for someone else to claim.
Get yourself hydrated, and eat a good meal before coming in! We don’t want you passing out! Feel free to bring snacks and a water bottle for longer sessions.
If you are feeling unwell such as cold, cough, flu, sore throat, or just feeling a little off, please request to reschedule with me! If you show up to your appointment sick, you will be asked to go home.
A guest over the age of 18 is welcome to come with you, as long as they will not be disruptive during our session.
I will not tattoo anyone who is pregnant, nursing, intoxicated, or under the age of 18.
Make sure to shower the day of your appointment! Be sure the area you would like tattooed is clean, and free from any scratches, wounds, irritations, bruises, marks or sunburns. I cannot tattoo damaged or irritated skin.
Gently exfoliate, and moisturize daily during the week leading up to your appointment. This helps a lot! However, do not exfoliate your skin the day of your appointment, as this can be an irritation risk.
You will need to moisturize your tattoo twice a day while healing, so be sure to have that prepared! Click here for a link to aftercare and recommended products.
Avoid drinking alcohol, taking pain killers, or any blood thinning medications during the 24 hours before your appointment. These will cause you to bleed more, and the ink will struggle to take to your skin.
You must reschedule if you are going to be on antibiotics during the week of, or during the week after your tattoo appointment.
Wear comfy, loose clothing that will allow me to easily tattoo you. Try to avoid wearing light colors! Tattoo ink can get messy and stain your clothes.
Feel free to bring nonintrusive entertainment such as headphones, podcasts, iPad, books, knitting project, or a pal to help distract you!
If you are planning to use a TATTOO SAFE, topical numbing gel, apply the gel to the area being tattooed before your appointment. You may show up to your tattoo with saran wrap still on. My favorite brands to use are Hush and Mad Rabbit. Please follow recommended directions and do a test patch to make sure you aren’t allergic! The FDA has also issued a warning about these numbing gel brands: click here
